Indian Art and Indian Artist

INDIAN ART AND GREAT INDIAN ARTIST

“From the knowledge of the art arises divine knowledge, and such knowledge leads to liberaton. This liberation is truly the essence of the knowledge of art. He who realize this, attains.”
                                                                                                       --  UPANISHAD

Art is man’s intellectual sensibilities, raising him to level of ultimate reality.

Painting is defines as means  where by an artist gives expression to his or her conceptual intentions  in which ever way and whatever forms he believes it is best manifested to reflect their own realities, ideas ,symbols, motifs,  their own interpretations and their own new language combination of sketching, drawing and composition. This can be done on any surfaces like wall, canvas, pottery, jewellery, cloth,  building, furniture, send ,and even on human body also.

In Indian means  Art was meant to enrich both maker and viewer,  transporting them towards higher levels of consciousness.  As Artist connects with work of art  and itself to divine bliss.  Painter or artist were motivated by spiritual factors rather than financial gains. They work on divine inspiration. Here like every thing else painting is also connected to Dharam or spirituality.  It is matter of self explanation of God ‘ s creation.
